October 5 is World Teachers’ Day and we feel it’s a day to celebrate. Teachers around the world are doing life changing work and they deserve to be appreciated. Of course, we’re book nerds, so the best way to celebrate is to talk about YA books with important teachers and mentors. These fictional teachers are incredibly impactful in the lives of our main characters – sometimes in a good way, sometimes not – but they still matter. And maybe they’ll remind us of the teachers and mentors we had that changed our lives.
